| Sounion (4 hours) |
The sanctuary of Poseidon at Sounion is one of the most important sanctuaries in Attica. Sporadic finds point to the conclusion that the site was inhabited in the prehistoric period but there is no evidence of religious practice in such an early date. “Sounion Hiron” (sanctuary of Sounion) is first mentioned in the Odyssey, as the place where Menelaos stopped during his return from Troy to bury his helmsman, Phrontes Onetorides. The finds of the 7th century B.C. Are numerous and prove the existence of organized cult on two points of the promontory: at the southern edge where the temenos of Poseidon was situated, and about 500m. to the NE of it, where the sanctuary of Athena was established. |

| Argolis - Sanctuary of Asklepios at Ancient Epidaurus (+ Mycenae 8 hours) |
The Asklepieion at Epidaurus comprises two sanctuaries dedicated to two healing gods : the earlier sanctuary of Apollo Maleatas on Mt. Kynorinton and the later sanctuary of Asklepios in the plain, where the famous healing rituals took place.
The sanctuary in the plain is the largest and better known of the two. The entrance to the modern archaeological site is located on its southwest side, but the sanctuary was originally accessed from the north through Propylaia. The theater of the Asklepieion of Epidaurus is the ideal specimen of the achievements and experience of the ancient Greeks on the theater construction. It was already praised in antiquity by Pausanias for its symmetry and beauty. It was the typical Hellenistic structure with the three basic parts : the cavea, the orchestra and the stage-building (skene). |

| Argolis - Mycenae (+ Sanctuary of Asklepios 8 hours) |
To the right of the Lion Gate are the remains of a building dubbed the “Granary”, because its basement contained carbonized grain. South of the Granary is Grae Circle A, whose six large shaft graves contained numerous gold objects and other works of art. Beyond this is a series of buildings, possibly the residences of high officials: the House of the Warrior Krater, the Ramp House, the South House and the Citadel House. The citadel's religious center, along the south fortification wall, includes the Temple of Idols, the House of the Frescoes, Tsountas's House and the Priest's House. A staircase and a large processional street connected these shrines to the palace. |

Corinth, or Korinth is a city in Greece. In antiquity it was a city-state, on the isthmus of Corinth, the narrow stretch of land that joins the Peloponnesus to the mainland of Greece. To the west of the isthmus lies the Gulf of Corinth, to the east lies the Saronic Gulf. Corinth is about 78 Kilometers (48 mi) southwest of Athens.

The Meteora (“suspended rocks”, “suspended in the air” or “in the heavens above”) is one of the largest and most important complex of monasteries in Kalambaka, Greece and is second only to Mount Athos. The monasteries are build on natural sandstone rock pillars, at the northwestern edge of the Plain of Thessaly near the Peneios river and Pindus Mountains, in central Greece.
